This time, we were half-in-love with Lana del Rey, so we made up a parallel universe where she would fit perfectly – filled with ivy, flowers and balloons. The idea for this photoshoot came to life when we first met our lovely model, Ioana Madalina Ghileschi, who is our Lana. All we needed was a photographer who shared our vision and aesthetics, so we were very happy that Andreea Retinschi accepted our challenge.

                                                                           I know it’s nothing new. Multiple exposure is being used for a while but I made my first   series of portraits using my landscape photos as a second exposure and results are quite nice, I think.

I named my short series – 4 Winters. Winter in Poland this year is like human’s nature – really unpredictable. We get very diverse types of weather conditions and this was my inspiration for such name.

My name is Tal Peleg. Art has been a huge part of my life ever since I can remember myself. I love illustration, photography and makeup, and the eye-art is my way of mixing all of these passions together by using the eye as my canvas.

Makeup is an amazing form of art, and I use it in order to make my eye tell a story. I don’t just paint on the eye, but try to use the shape of the eye and its natural curves as part of the illustration in a creative way.

Inspiration is all around me, and I give my own unique artistic interpetation using makeup. It can be inspired by emotions, movies, fairytales, animals, food, important social matter and more. I create all the eye-art on my own eye, and I use mostly eyeshadows, eyeliners and watercolors, and of course – super tiny brushes. It takes hours of work, and lots of patience, but I really enjoy every moment of the process!

Calatrava wins contest for observation tower in Dubai harbour;

A rendering shows an illuminated needle-like structure with an observation pod near the tip of its point.

It will tower over inland buildings, and will be tethered to its waterfront site by a series of cables – not dissimilar to those used in Calatrava's Jerusalem Chords Bridge, which is modelled on a harp.

The tower and Dubai Creek Harbour scheme are being developed by Dubai Holding and Emaar Properties, the same firm behind the Burj Khalifa.

"Combining Islamic architecture with modern design, the tower at Dubai Creek will become a national monument as well as a cultural and tourist destination," added Mohammad Ali Al Alabbar of Emaar Properties.

The Dubai Creek Harbour scheme will also include a pair of rocket-shaped residential towers, which the developers say will be the tallest in the world.

Dubai is experiencing a "boom" in construction, according to local architectswho said the city is bouncing back after the 2008 financial crisis.

Other new projects for the city include a huge canal, an underwater hotel and a climate-controlled mega resort.

Model in your 30's

To summarize modeling in your 30’s all I can say is you only live once so if you want to try it – go for it! Do not let a number hold you back, but set realistic expectations and goals and work hard to achieve them. Do not expect to be handed work and look for the right markets and age appropriate casting calls or agencies. There is a calling out there for any age, skin color and ‘look’, so research and aim towards what is achievable and be proud of yourself for trying if nothing else. If you are already modeling and wanting to prolong your career, look after yourself in terms of a beauty routine, get plenty of sleep and keep your body in top shape by being active. Look towards transitioning into a differing area or field such as from high fashion into the commercial or lifestyle sector if your look lends itself.
